Well, here's for my first tip. If you frequent sites such as Facebook, Myspace, Twitter and Bebo then social networking sites are a familiar things to you. So, how about getting paid for using social networking sites exactly like Facebook and Myspace?

Yuwie is a social networking site that makes all it's money from advertising, and does the kind service of passing some of that profit on to the users who keep it going. It's amazing how few people have actually taken this site up on it's offer, it's free to sign up and it has a genuine reason for giving you money! I was sceptic at first, but this is how it works.

For every 1000 page views you build up, you get a pre-determined amount of cash - normally around $0.50. You get money depending on the page views you do yourself as well. All sound peachy so far? 'YES!' I hear you shout. But this is hardly big money. The big money is in referrals.

Each friend you refer earns you an arbitrary sum of money, a few cents, nothing amazing. But you earn a royalty of sorts on the page views each of the people you refer generate. Then, you get less weighted page views on the users they refer, and the ones they refer and so on to 10 levels of referral. This can, if you are active enough, generate quite a lot of cash.

Here are my tips for making the most of Yuwie:

-Invite ALL of your friends. Literally, all of them. This isn't just because you get money from referrals, but also because it will make the experience more enjoyable. You wouldn't go on Facebook if your friends weren't on there! Also, it means that your profile will be viewed and commented a lot more - generating more cash!

-Personalise your profile. This includes a decent profile picture, and a good colour scheme. But don't use silly Myspace-style graphics and such, they look tacky and take too long to load.

-Make new friends. I can not stress this enough, make new friends. It will generate LOADS of page views, because you have someone who uses the site a lot already!
